Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft is organizing a workshop for the Office of the Federal President to reflect on the future scenarios from the project “Digital Europe 2030” and to discuss their practical implications.

The project “Digital Europe 2030" brings together the topics of the public sphere and digital sovereignty and systematically analyses possible futures in order to provide new impulses to Germany’s European politics. In a variety of working sessions, the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft, together with an interdisciplinary group of experts and methodically supported by the company Foresight Intelligence, has developed possible scenarios for the year 2030.

The results of this foresight process can only be effective, however, if they are further thought through, together with key economic and political actors, with a view to strategic options for action. Thus the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft has invited representatives of the Office of the Federal President to participate in a digital workshop. We will present our methodological approach as well as our scenarios for the future to the participants and reflect on them together. The overarching goal will be to identify strategic issues that arise from the perspective of the Office of the Federal President pertaining to the future of European democracies.

Participation in the workshop is by invitation only. If you have any questions, please contact Samuel Walker.
